Tai chi makes me feel calmer, more balanced and ready to face the day.
The most important think with tai chi for me is the link between mind and body. I can feel the concentration on the movement and control and the stress drain away . Don’t forget it’s all about the core !
I find tai Chi relaxing and calming learning how to breathe helps me with my anxiety and panic attacks. My balance has got better over the months I’ve been going to Tai Chi.
Tai Chi seems a simple exercise yet it takes so long to master, I haven’t yet after seven years! Core strength builds along with control promoting inner calm and peace. I listen to my body now, I have better balance and a sense of self. Tai Chi offers me a well of strength and self belief I can draw upon when times are hard. It is the foundation of my exercise regime.
Tai Chi is a slow controlled, fluid movement ideal for mind and body. It has taken me a long time to slow down to this form of movement BUT the benefits to my health have simply been "Life Changing"
I love tai chi both my balance and breathing have improved greatly since starting and my body much more supple
In the last three years having undergone a repair for a broken hip, a back operation and now going through a very stressful house move, Tai Chi has taught me to slow down and take time for myself which is beneficial in so many ways. Doing it as a group rather than on your own is good as you can appreciate how everyone improves as times goes on. Speaking as an ‘older person’ it also helps to keep me moving.
